Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing and a strong understanding of construction practices. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for executing tasks that require precision and attention to detail, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications.
Pour, spread, level and smooth concrete using various tools such as rakes, float, trowel or screeds.
Finish surface per job specifications. Ability to operate a trowel machine.
Apply curing and sealing compounds.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications.
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed throughout the workday.
Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
Assist in estimating material quantities for projects as required.

Experience

Proven experience in concrete finishing is essential.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
Ability to read blueprints and understand construction estimating principles is preferred.
Experience with hand tools and equipment related to concrete work is required.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
