As an Estimator , you'll play a vital role in our project planning process, reviewing specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting our sales and project management teams to ensure every job starts with a solid foundation. This is an on-site position at our Greenville, NC, office, ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with sales, project managers, and field teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and client needs.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, vendor pricing, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Assist with bid proposals and follow up on submitted bids.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input for scheduling and resource planning.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (training provided if needed).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with estimating software a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to learn and grow, experience in estimating or construction is a plus, but not required.

  • Full time position
