Paint and Spray Machine Operator – Industrial Coatings

Shift: Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Occasional Saturdays - 2nd Shift

Pay: $17.50/hr base + $1.50/hr shift differential

Position Overview:

A production facility is seeking an experienced Paint and Spray Machine Operator with a background in industrial or manufacturing environments . This position plays a vital role in maintaining production efficiency, meeting quality standards, and supporting workflow through the accurate operation of painting and coating equipment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in paint coating or spray application in an industrial or production setting is required.
• Familiarity with coating materials, spray equipment, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate paint or coating machines per project specifications.
• Mix coatings and paints in accordance with defined formulas.
• Select appropriate materials and application techniques based on substrate and job requirements.
• Adjust spray equipment for proper flow, dispersion, and temperature.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines for handling chemicals and operating equipment.
• Monitor the production process and make adjustments to maintain consistent quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including production reports and inventory usage.

Daily Duties Include:

• Surface preparation through cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Application of primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes as needed.
• Inspection of finished products to identify and correct defects.
• Coordination with production team to meet schedule and output targets.
• Adherence to internal quality standards and safety procedures.

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on position within a production facility. Candidates must be comfortable working with industrial materials and equipment, standing for extended periods, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $17.50 base + $1.50 shift differential
• Additional benefits may be available after probationary period
