Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for healthcare data processing and system integration.
Optimize legacy systems and migrate components to modern architectures while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and operations to deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across all C++-based services.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to C++ applications.
Document technical specifications, workflows, and system interfaces.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in C++ development, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, memory management, and multithreading.
Experience with healthcare payor systems such as claims adjudication, eligibility, and provider data management.
Familiarity with ANSI X12 EDI transactions (837, 835, 834, etc.) and healthcare data standards.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and secure data handling practices.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating C++ systems with modern APIs (REST, SOAP) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of FHIR and emerging healthcare interoperability standards.
Experience with performance profiling and optimization in large-scale systems.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
